When it comes to “silly season” in NASCAR, many people assume that it only affects the drivers. With Alex Bowman moving to the No. 88 at Hendrick Motorsports, Kevin Hamlin will move to the spotter role replacing TJ Majors as the eye in the sky of the No. 88 for the 2018 season.

Bowman took to Twitter to announce that Hamlin would be his spotter for the 2018 season:

TJ majors also want to Twitter to confirm that this will be his last season with the No. 88 team and Hendrick Motorsports:

In the “Door. Bumper. Clear” podcast on DirtyMo Radio, Majors relayed information that he would be joining Joey Logano at Team Penske.

There have been no other personnel decisions made by Hendrick Motorsports at this time. Hamlin is currently the spotter for Kasey Kahne at Hendrick Motorsports.
