As announced on Thursday, Georgia native Corey Heim will join Venturini Motorsports in the ARCA Menards Series part-time in 2020.

Heim will be behind the wheel of the teams Toyota Camry for seven starts this season covering all three ARCA Menards Series with the National, East and West.

“I am really looking forward to getting into one of Venturini Motorsports Toyotas and hitting the track this season,” stated Heim in a team press release.

“Last year was a step in the right direction for me and I think with everything I learned and Venturini’s amazing track record in ARCA, we will be a threat each and every week we show up. It’s going to be a lot of fun running in all three ARCA Series and I’m looking forward to racing on short tracks, dirt tracks and road-courses.”

Heim made his first ARCA start last season at Five Flags Speedway where he started fourth on the grid and finish fifth.

He continued to run a partial schedule in 2019 amassing seven top-five and 11 top-10 finishes.

In addition, Heim spent time running Late Model Stock and Super Late Models throughout the Southeast.

“In continuing with our goal to make our driver development program as strong as possible, I am excited to welcome Corey Heim as the newest addition. He was a tough competitor on-track last season and I am glad to have him as part of our program, so we don’t have to race against him this year,” said Billy Venturini.

“Heim has proven himself to be a threat each week and will only help us continue to expand our ARCA East and West Series programs.”

Venturini Motorsports will announce sponsorship, car number and a crew chief for Heim at a later date.
