Podium eSports, iRacing to feature eSports race featuring NASCAR stars

All eyes in the NASCAR industry will be on eNASCAR, iRacing, and Podium eSports with “The Replacements 100” at the virtual Atlanta Motor Speedway.

The collaboration between Podium eSports, iRacing, NASCAR drivers, spotters, crew chiefs, and other team personnel has culminated with “The Replacements 100.” 100-laps, 150-miles at iRacing’s laser-scanned Atlanta Motor Speedway. The race will be streamed live Sunday afternoon.

Coverage of “The Replacements 100” begins at 3:00 p.m. Eastern on the Podium eSports Twitch channel – – with the green flag scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Eastern.

Among the NASCAR starts participating in “The Replacements 100” are NASCAR Cup Series drivers Alex Bowman, William Byron, and Bubba Wallace. NASCAR Xfinity Series drivers Justin Allgaier, Harrison Burton, and Justin Haley also plan to participate. Ben Rhodes will represent the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series.

Part-time NASCAR Xfinity Series driver, team-owner, and NASCAR on NBC broadcaster Dale Earnhardt Jr. will also participate.

From the NASCAR crew side of the industry spotters TJ Majors (Joey Logano), Josh Williams (Ryan Blaney), Coleman Pressley (Brad Keselowski), and Kevin Hamlin (Alex Bowman) will be taking part. Seven-time NASCAR Cup Series Championship crew chief Chad Knaus will also take part.

The planned participant list for “The Replacements 100” also includes those from outside the NASCAR world. Taylor Gray, a recent CARS Tour winner and brother of NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series driver, Tanner Gray, will take part. Musician Tim Dugger and retired NFL lineman Kyle Long also plan to compete in “The Replacements 100.”

Long is also the team owner of Mode Media House in the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series. The team fields Jake Nichols and Phil Diaz in the eNASCAR series.

The driver line-up for “The Replacements 100” is tentative and subject to change prior to the green flag on Sunday afternoon.
