NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Kyle Weatherman will sport a new helmet on Friday evening at Bristol Motor Speedway. The new helmet designed by North Carolina’s own Off Axis and generously donated by Rich Mar Florist will see Weatherman driving in style.
Back in August, Weatherman coming off a 17th place finish at the Daytona International Speedway Road Course, had his helmet stolen. His trailer belonging to Mike Harmon Racing was stolen from the parking lot of a Cracker Barrel in Kingsland, Georgia. The trailer not only contained the No. 47 ‘We Stand For The National Anthem’ Chevrolet, but the pit box, tool box, and all of the essential race gear for both driver and team including Weatherman’s helmet.
After hearing about the helmet, both Rich Mar Florist and Off Axis decided to generously donate and design a helmet for the Missouri native. Together the two made a new helmet possible.

“Racing is family and when we heard Weatherman’s personal items were stolen, we wanted to do something to step in and help out,” expressed Jonathan Morrissey, Co-Owner of Rich Mar Florist. “With the help of Off Axis, we made a great situation out of a bad one. We know the expenses that go into racing.”
23-year old Weatherman who is having a career year in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, is equally excited to debut the helmet under the lights at Bristol. “Really honored to represent the Rich Mar Racing colors. I can’t wait to have the sweet looking paint from Off Axis this weekend in Bristol.”
Heading into Friday’s Food City 300, Weatherman has one top-10 (Eighth at Kentucky), three top-15 and five top-20 finishes in 17 starts this season. Additionally, his eighth place finish at Kentucky in July was his first career top-10 in NXS competition. Prior to this season, Weatherman’s best finish in the series was a 22nd place result at Kansas in 2019.

Tomorrow evening’s NASCAR Xfinity Series event can be seen live on NBCSN at 7:00 p.m. Eastern. Weatherman will start from the 24th position in his No. 47 Chevrolet for Mike Harmon Racing.
