After having to battle with no qualifying in 2021, Justin Carroll and the team will attempt to make their NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut at Martinsville next month. Carroll exclusively confirmed to Kickin’ the Tires this week of his plans for the 2022 NASCAR and ARCA season.

“We are planning to start the 2022 season off by attempting the truck race at Martinsville on April 7th,” said Carroll. “We are also planning to attempt Richmond and Bristol in the Truck Series. If we gain sponsorship we would certainly attempt more but we will definitely be able to attempt more truck races now there this qualifying.”

Carroll spoke with Kickin’ the Tires in 2021 and discussed that he was going to attempt to run Richmond, Bristol, and Martinsville but due to the lack of qualifying and needing to race his way in, Carroll and the organization pushed the debut to 2022. He did compete in three ARCA Menards Series East and one ARCA Menards Series race last season and plans to continue running the normal races in 2022 along with a few new tracks.

“As for with ARCA, we are planning on running Dover and Bristol. We also are going to attempt Charlotte, Pocono, and Kansas. I also plan to run late model races on my off weekends but our main goal is to run more in the ARCA Menards Series and Truck Series, we just need more sponsorship.”

As noted above, in 2021, Carroll ran a total of four races combined in the ARCA Menards Series and East Series. A high note in 2021 came at Southern National Raceway Park where he earned his second career top-five finish in the East Series. Otherwise, though, it was a struggle for Carroll and the organization facing multiple mechanical issues.

“I feel like I had the fastest cars I’ve ever had in ARCA just a lot of mechanical issues,” said Carroll. “Honestly, the results didn’t show but honestly we had better speed than we ever had in our cars. Our cars are the best they have ever been and I felt like if we didn’t have those mechanical issues, the results would’ve been much better. Our late model program definitely improved as well last year so hopefully, 2022 will be better for us. We for sure have been working hard.”

In his career, Carroll has five starts in the ARCA Menards Series with the best finish of 10th at Bristol in 2020. He has 20 starts in the ARCA Menards Series East with the best finish of second coming at South Boston in 2018.

Carroll will attempt his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut on April 7th at Martinsville Speedway. His season debut in the ARCA Menards Series East will come at Dover Motor Speedway on April 29th.
