HAMPTON, Ga. – The long-awaited debut of the “new” Atlanta will have to wait another day.

Weather in the area forced NASCAR to postpone practices from Friday and cancel qualifying in an effort for the drivers to have practice on Saturday. As a result, qualifying has been canceled and the lineup will be set per the NASCAR Rule Book.

A week after picking up his first career victory in the NASCAR Cup Series, Chase Briscoe will lead the field to green on Sunday. It will be a Ford Performance 1-2-3 with Ryan Blaney starting second and Joey Logano starting third. Kyle Busch and Tyler Reddick will round out the top-five starting spots in Sunday’s Folds of Honor/QuikTrip 500.

The Folds of Honor/QuikTrip 500 goes live on FOX at 3 p.m ET and can also be broadcasted live on the Performance Racing Network.

Las Vegas Truck Series winner Chandler Smith will start from the pole in Saturday’s Fr8Auctions 208 alongside Stewart Friesen. 2015 Truck Series Atlanta winner Matt Crafton will start third while Ty Majeski and Carson Hocevar round out the top-five.

The Fr8Auctions 208 kicks off Saturday’s action at 2:30 p.m. ET while the Nalley Cars 250 follows at 5 p.m. ET. Both races will be broadcasted live on FOX Sports 1 and on the Performance Racing Network.

JR Motorsports teammates Noah Gragson and Josh Berry will start on the front row for Saturday’s Nalley Cars 250. Gragson earned his first victory of 2022 last weekend at Phoenix Raceway. Brandon Jones, Ty Gibbs, and Trevor Bayne will round out the top-five starting spots.

As a result of more than 38 cars entered, David Starr, Brennan Poole, Chad Finchum, Dillon Bassett, and Harrison Rhodes failed to qualify for Saturday’s race.
