Brett Moffitt’s No. 23 Chevrolet Silverado will have a familiar look with the return of CMR Construction & Roofing.

The season opening NextEra Energy 250 at Daytona International Speedway will be the first of three NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series races for CMR on the GMS Racing Chevrolet.

The partnership started last season. The first race in which Moffitt’s truck wore the CMR colors, he won from the pole at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. CMR returned for another four races including the season-finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

“I’m excited to have CMR back on board with us for a few races this season,” explained Moffitt. “They’ve been great to work with in the past and we were able to get them to victory lane once last year. Hopefully we’ll be able to build on that this season with them on board.”

The 2018 NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series Champion has 11 victories in 59 starts. Moffitt also has 29 top-five and 36 top-10 finishes. The Grimes, IA native earned three poles, all in 2019. Moffitt has an average finish of 1.33 when starting from the pole in the Truck Series.

“CMR is proud to renew our sponsorship of Brett Moffitt in the Gander Trucks Series for key races in 2020, starting with Daytona,” said Steve Soule, CEO of CMR Construction & Roofing. “Brett and the GMS Racing team are strong, dedicated and prepared to earn big wins on the track.

“These values matter to us at CMR Construction & Roofing and represent our name well. We look forward to our continued partnership and to cheering on the No. 23. See you at the finish line.”

The 2020 season marks the first time that Moffitt has remained with the same team in consecutive seasons since 2012-2013. He will now use that momentum to contend for a second NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series championship.
