It was announced on Wednesday morning at the NASCAR Hall of Fame that Our Motorsports is expanding to the NASCAR Xfinity Series. The organization who has previously raced in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour and the ARCA Menards Series will expand starting in 2020 beginning with the NASCAR Racing Experience 300 from Daytona International Speedway in February.

“We’re excited to be expanding to compete in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2020,” Our said in a team press release. “NASCAR’s marketing platform offers an opportunity like no other for both our existing partners and potential new partners.

The team based in Statesville, North Carolina and owned by Massachusetts native Chris Our will field the No. 02 Chevrolet with it’s first driver being NASCAR Whelen Modified Champion, Andy Seuss.

Seuss is no stranger to racing or success having won the Southern Modified Tour Championship in 2014 and 2015, as well as amassing 22 wins, 70 top-five’s, 93 top-ten’s, and 13 poles in 115 starts in the NASCAR Southern Modified Tour over an 11 years span.

In addition, Seuss made his Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series debut this past July in the Foxwoods Resort Casino 301 from his home track, New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Seuss piloted the No. 51 Jacob Companies Ford for Rick Ware Racing, finishing the event in the 28th position.

For the last two years, Seuss has been managing the daily operations for Our Motorsports with his duties expanding as the team expands to the Xfinity Series.
“Chris Our has been a huge influence and supporter of helping to continue the dream of competing at the highest level in NASCAR,” Seuss said in the teams press release.

“He is a great guy, whose passion for motorsports has helped countless drivers over the years live their dreams to compete for wins every weekend.”

Seuss will drive the No. 02 Chevrolet in several races during the 2020 season with the official driver lineup for the season being expected to be released in January.
Our Motorsports has indicated they will run a partial schedule for 2020 ARCA Menards Series as well.

The 2020 NASCAR Xfinity Series season will officially kick off Saturday February 15 at 2:30 PM ET with the NASCAR Racing Experience 300 from Daytona International Speedway.
