JD Motorsports with Gary Keller (JDM) has announced that BJ McLeod will return to the organization for the third consecutive season.

2019 was McLeod’s best NASCAR Xfinity Series as he finished 20th in the driver standings.

Last season he piloted the JDM Chevrolet’s for 29 races and went on to finish in the Top-20 in 11 events with his best season finish coming at Dover International Speedway in the fall when he finished 17th.

“I can’t think of a better opportunity than returning to JD Motorsports with Gary Keller for the 2020 race season. We have had some great fun and success over the years, and I know we can build on our program once again this season,” said McLeod in a team press release.

“Working with Wayne (Carroll, McLeod’s primary crew chief from last season) proved to be a great combination, and I can’t wait to see what we can do again this season. I am very thankful for everybody’s hard work and dedication at JDM, they make everything possible. Hopefully I will be able to represent them in a respectful way.”

In addition to his driving duties, McLeod owns his own NASCAR Xfinity Series team, BJ McLeod Motorsports.

Last July, BJMM driver Matt Mills earned BJ his third top-10 as an owner when the series visited Daytona International Speedway.

As noted by the team, a car number for McLeod will be released at a later date.
