TALLADEGA, Al. – After finishing in the Top 10 at every NASCAR Xfinity Series race in 2020, Harrison Burton was caught up in a crash caused by the No. 52 of Kody Vanderwal.

Burton, who was obviously bummed over the DNF (did not finish) result said he didn’t know what exactly had happened.

“It was hard to say from my seat, they all stacked up and I think he spun,” Burton said via text message.

Vanderwal got into the back of the No. 0 car and when the two disconnected his car shot down the track and hit Burton. That caused Burton to turn up the track, where he collided with Josh Williams (No. 24 car) and Jo Graf Jr. (No. 23).

Burton has already won two races and locked himself into the Xfinity Series playoffs as a rookie.
