Superstar Racing Experience and Speed51.com to Promote Grassroots Racing

Speed51.com Named SRX’s Short Track Content Marketing Partner

CONCORD, N.C. (May 7, 2021) – Superstar Racing Experience (SRX) and Speed51.com have formed a partnership ahead of SRX’s inaugural season with Speed51.com serving as the series’ short-track content marketing partner for the 2021 season.

SRX is a six-race short-track series airing this summer on Saturday nights in primetime on CBS. It features drivers from an array of motorsports backgrounds competing in identically prepared racecars on a variety of tracks.

SRX and Speed51.com will work together to promote grassroots racing across North America.

“Speed51.com has embraced this partnership with SRX,” said Emily McCarty, General Manager, Speed51.com. “We have some of the best short-track racing fans in the country and we are intimately familiar with the tracks and drivers participating in SRX. This collaboration will provide a unique look into this thrilling new series, and our team looks forward to working alongside SRX during its highly anticipated inaugural season.”

As the leading grassroots racing source in America, Speed51.com will place a major focus on covering SRX’s local all-stars – the short-track standouts selected to compete against the impressive field of SRX regulars. Doug Coby, Brian Brown, Kody Swanson, Bobby Santos III and the winner of the 42nd Slinger Nationals will be featured in weekly editorials on Speed51.com, including The Bullring podcast. These drivers representing pavement modifieds, winged sprint cars, super late models and various USAC divisions will be spotlighted as they prepare for their once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to compete against motorsports legends.

“SRX brings racing legends to local tracks and pits local all-stars against the superstars,” said Evernham, co-founder of SRX. “Pitting guys like Doug Coby, Brian Brown, Kody Swanson, Bobby Santos III – heroes in their own area – against some of these established superstars to see who’s top dog will be compelling and will make for some great racing. Speed51.com and its fans knows these drivers really well, and they’re going to help us tell their stories and showcase their skills.”

Speed51.com will offer motorsports fans the latest SRX news throughout the series’ inaugural season, including behind-the-scenes video content, in-depth driver analysis, track overviews and historical footage across Speed51.com’s platforms. Speed51.TV subscribers will also gain access to exclusive video content that includes tech tips from Evernham, interviews with SRX drivers, and footage from SRX testing days.

SRX debuts June 12 at Stafford (Conn.) Motor Speedway. After Stafford, SRX visits back-to-back dirt tracks – Knoxville (Iowa) Raceway on June 19 and Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, on June 26. SRX returns to pavement July 3 at Lucas Oil Raceway near Indianapolis and then ventures north to Slinger (Wis.) Speedway on July 10 before its season finale July 17 at the Nashville (Tenn.) Fairgrounds Speedway.

The star-studded SRX driver roster includes Tony Stewart, Tony Kanaan, Paul Tracy, Bobby Labonte, Willy T. Ribbs, Bill Elliott, Ernie Francis Jr., Marco Andretti, Helio Castroneves and Michael Waltrip. Coby joins this SRX lineup at Stafford, Brown will race at Knoxville, Swanson competes at Eldora, and Santos races at Lucas Oil Raceway.
