Josh Bilicki will continue his full-time career in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, joining RSS Racing and their No. 38 Chevrolet for the 2019 season.

Bilicki, who is hot off his rookie campaign in 2018 with JP Motorsports, will contest the full schedule for the family organization and will have sponsor Dr. Squatch Soap Co. on the car for the season opener at Daytona International Speedway this month. Further sponsorship will be announced at a later date.

“I’m really excited and thankful to be joining RSS Racing for the entire 2019 season,” Bilicki told Kickin’ The Tires. “They’ve worked really hard over the offseason and I feel we have a legitimate shot of running up front and taking home a win at Daytona.”

With only two top-20 finishes in 2018 with JP, Bilicki, 23, knows 2019 will be a step in the right direction toward contending for victories. RSS Racing is led by driver/owner Ryan Sieg, who scored 21 top-20 finishes in his No. 39 across 2018. The No. 38 entry, split among various drivers, scored a total of 10 top 20s, including three 11th-place finishes.

Bilicki is aware of the quicker equipment to come, gelling well with underdog competitor Sieg last season. This led to a natural coming-together between the two for 2019.

“I’ve talked to Ryan several times throughout the 2018 season and we seem to click really well, which is important to teammates,” he said. “It’s also great to have Jeff Green as a teammate. He has a lot of experience and I’m looking forward to learning all I can from him and Ryan.”
