G2G Racing announced on Thursday that they will be running two full-time trucks in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in 2022. Matt Jaskol will pilot the No. 46 in a full-time effort while 2016 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion Johnny Sauter will pilot the No. 47 in 13-races starting at Daytona.
G2G Racing, owned by Tim Viens, will make its debut at the Daytona International Speedway in a few weeks. As noted above, Jaskol will run a full slate for the organization competing for the NCWTS championship in the No. 46 entry. Sauter will run 13 races with the organization and will share the No. 47 entry with Roger Reuse and team-owner Viens.
Jaskol made his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut last season with MBM Motorsports at Martinsville where he finished 28th. He has six total starts to his credit with the best finish of 19th coming at Mid-Ohio. During his tenure with MBM Motorsports, Jaskol had only one DNF and ended the season with two straight 27th place finishes. Jaskol also has five starts in the Indy Lights Series coming back in 2007 finishing seventh twice (Indianapolis and Sonoma).

After spending the last three seasons running full-time with ThorSport Racing, Sauter will split his time in 2022. The Truck Series veteran has 311 starts with 24 victories, 114 top-five, and 184 top-10 finishes. Sauter will enter Daytona seeking his fourth Truck Series victory at Daytona. He last earned the victory at Daytona in 2018 en route to a fourth-place finish in the standings. His 12th place finish in points in 2021 marked the second straight season he finished outside the top-10.

Bill Shea will also serve as a business partner with Viens in G2G Racing. Veteran Tim Silva will serve as the team’s General Manager and crew chief in 2022. He has 83 starts as a crew chief in the Camping World Truck Series with drivers Mike Harmon, Jordan Anderson, Travis Kvapil, Bryce Napier, Stefan Parsons, and others. He has the best finish of 11th as a crew chief coming at Talladega with Jennifer Jo Cobb in 2018.
