Dollar turned a 49.489-second (181.859-mph) lap around the Daytona International Speedway just inching past his teammate Gracie Trotter by .01-seconds. Trotter will start the race from the second position in her fourth ARCA Menards Series start, her best career start.
Greg Van Alst will start the race from the third position, followed by Rich Bickle and Jack Wood round out the top-five starting spots.
Three of the five top-five starters are competing in this year’s edition of the Bounty Rookie Challenge.
Derek Griffith starts the race from the sixth position while Sean Corr, Chuck Hiers, Corey Heim, and Tanner Gray round out the top-10.
Defending Series champion Bret Holmes will start the race from the 15th position.
The Lucas Oil 200 Driven by General Tire at Daytona is slated to begin at 1:30 p.m. ET, pending weather conditions. The race will be broadcasted live on FOX Sports 1 and will be available on MRN and SiriusXM channel 391. Jamie Little will make history in the FOX Sports booth by being the first female play-by-play commentator in NASCAR history.
