After a stellar rookie season in 2020, Taylor Gray will return to the No. 17 Ford Performance Ford Fusion in 2021.
After running a total of 22 races last season across all three ARCA series, Gray will get the opportunity to chase two championships with David Gilliland Racing in 2021. Gray will run full-time in the ARCA East and Sioux Chief Showdown Series. The Sioux Chief Showdown Series runs alongside the main ARCA Series in 10 races next season at a list of short tracks and two road courses.
Gray earned his first career victory last season in the ARCA Menards West Series at Kern County Raceway and has a career-best finish of third twice in the Sioux Chief Showdown Series (Toledo and I-44 Speedway).
Veteran crew chief Chad Johnston will be on the pit box for Gray after spending the 2020 season with Chip Ganassi Racing. Johnston has been in the NASCAR Cup Series since 2011 working with drivers Martin Truex Jr., Jeff Burton, Regan Smith, Tony Stewart, Kyle Larson, and most recently Matt Kenseth.
Fourth-generation Petty, Thad Moffitt, will return to the No. 46 Ford Fusion this season after running 13 of the 20 races in 2020. Moffitt will start in at least 11 ARCA Menards Series races this season coming off a career season with three top-five and eight top-10 finishes. Moffitt earned his career-best finish in his last race last season at Memphis finishing fourth.
Joey Iest will pilot the No. 54 Ford Fusion for six of the eight races in the ARCA Menards East Series. Iest will make his ARCA Menards East Series debut five days before his 18th birthday. The Madera, California native has four starts in the ARCA Menards West Series with Naake-Klauer Motorsports. He has the best finish of 11th in the second race at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway Bullring last season.
Iest and Gray will make their season debuts on February 8th at New Smyrna while Moffitt will make his season debut at Daytona on February 13th.
