In a historical weekend at Pocono Raceway, ThorSport driver Matt Crafton was possibly going to capture back-to-back top-10 finishes for the first time this season.

However, that all came to an end on lap one in turn one after starting Sunday morning’s Pocono Organics 150 in the 18th spot.

Crafton’s No. 88 and the No. 9 of Codie Rohrbaugh got together entering turn one when the No. 22 of Austin Wayne Self made contract with Rohrbaugh.

The No. 88 suffered significant damage that would end his day at the Tricky Triangle and Crafton would be credited with a last place finish. Additionally, it also ended a streak of three consecutive top-10 finishes in his last three starts at the track.

Crafton will now turn his focus to Kentucky Speedway as the series heads to the Bluegrass State on July 11. In 21 previous starts at the track, he has one win (2015), six top-five and 15 top-10 finishes.
