Dylan Lupton returns to DGR-Crosley at Las Vegas

26-year old California native, Dylan Lupton will return to the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series with DGR-Crosley this Friday at Las Vegas.

Lupton will make his first NGROTS start of the season in Friday’s Westgate 200 behind the wheel of the No. 17 Ford F-150. Last season, he made a total of six starts in the series, five of those came with DGR-Crosley. In that time spa, he earned one top-five and three top-10 finishes. Lupton went on to earn a season and career best of fifth at Kentucky.

“I am excited to return to DGR-Crosley for a few races this season,” said Lupton. “We had success together last season and I’m confident that we can build on that starting at Las Vegas. And hopefully contend for wins throughout my schedule.”

DGR-Crosley co-owner David Gilliland is equally excited to welcome Lupton back behind the wheel.

“We are happy to have Dylan back with us at DGR-Crosley for a few NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series races this year,” said Gilliland. “We had some good races with him last year, especially at the mile-and-a-half tracks, so we’re looking forward to seeing what he can do with Marcus (Richmond, crew chief). I think they will be a solid combination and have great potential.”

Beyond Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Lupton will pilot the No. 17 at Texas Motor Speedway on October 25 and the season finale at Phoenix Raceway on November 6. He will also return to the ARCA Menards Series for DGR-Crosley in its season finale at Kansas Speedway on October 16.

Lupton is no stranger to NASCAR. In addition to his experience in the NGROTS, he has 35 starts in the NASCAR Xfinity Series where he has a best finish of ninth at Mid-Ohio in 2015. Lupton also made four starts in NASCAR’s Cup Series back in 2016, earning a best finish of 25^th at Richmond Raceway.

“I feel like we still have some unfinished business from Homestead last year,” added Lupton. “DGR-Crosley brought me a fast truck, but unfortunately rain kept us from making the race. Hopefully, we can go to Las Vegas and finish what we started and have a successful race.”
