Grandstand seating will be sold out for the The 110th Indianapolis 500, marking the second year in-a-row that this feat has occurred, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway announced on Wednesday morning.
2026 will be the third time in 10 years that IMS will see a grandstand sellout for the “500”. The 2025 and 2016 editions of the “500”.
IMS also announced that parking and camping is sold out as well. The announcement arrives earlier than 2025, showing a growing increase in demand for the “500”. In addition to the sellout, the local television blackout will be lifted, allowing fans to watch the race on FOX.
“Anticipation for Race Day is approaching an all-time high right here in Central Indiana and across the globe,” IndyCar and Indianapolis Motor Speedway President J. Douglas Boles said. “We can’t thank the world’s greatest and most loyal fans enough. The stars of the NTT INDYCAR SERIES are ready for an unparalleled showcase of speed, bravery and competition in front of a historic and massive crowd.”
Fans can still buy general admission tickets and verified resale grandstand tickets via IMS’s official platforms. Tickets are still available for Qualifying weekend, Carb Day, Legends Day and the Snake Pit.
