In a historic weekend at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Friday saw the NTT IndyCar Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series trade the Speedway road course for practice sessions.
The day ended with an IndyCar qualifying run, which saw Patricio O’Ward claim pole position for tomorrow grand prix.
