CONCORD, N.C. — David Poole, the late NASCAR beat writer for the Charlotte Observer, once quipped, “You can’t beat fun.” Well, perhaps, Rick Hendrick and Marcus Smith have just beaten fun.

With the launch of the Ten Tenths (10/10) Motor Club, conveniently close to the Charlotte Motor Speedway, gearheads have a venue to enjoy their high-performance vehicles on a road course in a top-of-the-line country club setting.

According to Hendrick Motorsports and Speedway Motorsports Inc., the Ten Tenths Motor Club is a 100-acre complex unveiled in October 2024 that has become “the ultimate experience destination” for automotive enthusiasts, manufacturers and car collectors.

Ten Tenths was built as a joint venture between the two racing organizations and features a 1.7-mile, 19-turn road course designed by F1 veteran and two-time 24 Hours of Le Mans winner Alexander Wurz. The track also features two alternate configurations: one of those is a 0.567-mile inner loop and the other is a 1.1-mile short course that can be run separately and simultaneously. This gives the facility a total of three different exhilarating track options.
