Mooresville, NC — January 23, 2026 — Alpha Prime Racing today announced the appointment of Jusan Hamilton as President, effective immediately.
In his role, Hamilton will oversee Alpha Prime Racing’s strategic direction, operational performance, and organizational development, with a focus on building scalable systems, strengthening leadership culture, and positioning the team for sustained growth.
Hamilton joins Alpha Prime Racing following more than a decade in senior leadership roles at NASCAR, where he led large-scale operations, managed complex stakeholder environments, and oversaw nationally and internationally executed programs.
His background includes executive- level operational leadership, cross-functional team management, contract negotiations, and governance across high-visibility sporting platforms.

Tommy Joe Martins has served as Alpha Prime Racing’s leader for it’s entire seven year existence in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series – including formerly operating as Martins Motorsports with Tommy Joe as full-time Owner/Driver. Martins said Hamilton’s approach will serve the team well through the change.
