SALEM, IN. – Ty Gibbs will lead the field to green Saturday Night for the 10th time in 2021.

Gibbs turned a 17.176-second (116.325-mph) lap around Salem Speedway to earn the pole on Saturday.

Taylor Gray tied his career-best start of second, turning a 17.206-second (116.122-mph) lap. He was just .03-seconds off of his first career pole award in the ARCA Menards Series. He only has one other second-place start in his career coming at Iowa last season.

Nick Sanchez, Jesse Love, and Corey Heim rounded out the top five.

Gibbs would clinch the Sioux Chief Showdown Series championship Saturday Night if he finishes 17th or better. Not only is the Sioux Chief Showdown Series title on the line but with Salem being the second to the final race of the 2021 season, 27-points now separate Gibbs and Heim because of the extra point earned by Gibbs for the pole award.

Starting Lineup from Salem
