Carl Long’s MBM Motorsports will attempt to make the 62nd annual Daytona 500 next month with both Timmy Hill and Chad Finchum.

Timmy Hill is expected to run the full NASCAR Cup Series season behind the wheel of the No. 66.

In addition, the No. 49 will run as a second team in select events next season.

NASCAR Xfinity Series regular Chad Finchum will attempt the 62nd annual Daytona 500 behind the wheel of that No. 49 Toyota Camry.

If Finchum makes the Daytona 500 it will mark the Knoxville, Tennessee native’s second start at NASCAR’s highest tier.

He made his Cup Series debut back in 2018 for Carl Long in the No. 66 Concrete North / Smithbilt Homes Toyota  at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Unfortunately, a crash relegated Finchum to a disappointing 33rd place finish in his debut.

In 2019, the 25-year old ran 31 of the 33 scheduled events on the NASCAR Xfinity Series schedule for MBM Motorsports.

During that time span, Finchum’s best finish was a 15th place result in November’s O’Reilly Auto Parts 300 at Texas Motor Speedway.

Overall, he tallied up one top-15, three top-20 and eight top-25 finishes last season.
