It was a battle between the teammates for the first half of the race, but a flat tire after contact with traffic on a mid-race restart put Brandon Jones four laps down. Wild restarts created late-race drama, and Harrison Burton was able to hold everyone off for his first career win in the Production Alliance Group 300. He kept the Burton name in the win column on Leap Day, as his uncle Ward also won his first NASCAR Xfinity Series race on February 29 at Rockingham Speedway back in 1992.
