Joey Logano, the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Champion, along with other racing champions, will meet with President Donald Trump on Wednesday at the South Portico for a photo op. The event is expected to last approximately 30 minutes and is open to the White House Press Pool, according to the president’s public event schedule.
The last time a NASCAR Champion visited The White House was in May 2019, when Logano was recognized for his first Cup Series Championship. He was accompanied by his wife Brittany and Penske Racing team owner Roger Penske.
The year before, Martin Truex Jr., accompanied by the late Sherry Pollex, met with President Trump for a photo op to celebrate his NASCAR Cup Series Championship.
Following the Wednesday photo op, President Trump will return to the Oval Office for a closed press meeting where he will sign additional executive orders.
Didn’t like joey start with REALLY dislike him now!!!!! Hope he losses and wrecks every race
You know, I have a fairly open policy when it comes to what I allow for replies. This pushed the envelope. There is no reason to wish ill-will on anyone. Joey is one of the nicest drivers in the NASCAR garage, who does so much to help others. You may not like his political views but then again, you wouldn’t like mine either. –Jerry Jordan, Editor
I sure hope yrumpy offered him.more to eat then A Happy Meal.. Drivers eat more healthy than happy meals
Let’s bring back respect for each other. Respect does not mean you accept or agree with another’s opinion or even their accomplishments. Respect means you recognize them as a human being and willing to understand who they are but not condemn them.
Hey Jerry, maybe if he stops wrecking drivers the fans would respect him more if he gets wrecked by someone he crys and bitches Ryan Blaney has more class then lagoofy Go #9
