Earlier today, the NMPA Board of Directors and Officers decided on and donated to the Go Fund Me page set up for Josh Hamilton. Hamilton is the NASCAR senior manager of racing communications and has always been an ally in the sport and the NMPA.
The amount donated to the page set up for the Hamilton family on behalf of the NMPA was $1,500.
For those unaware, their house caught fire earlier this week and destroyed nearly everything. While Josh and his family, including two children young and family dog, were uninjured, the home and his truck are currently unlivable.
During the Hamilton family’s time of need, it felt appropriate to show our support. It is not uncommon for the NMPA to take such action, and we are proud to continue to do so for those in the motor racing community.
