Venturini Motorsports announced on Friday that they’ve signed Ryan Repko to their 2020 driver lineup. Repko will pilot the No. 20 Toyota Camry.
Repko is set to compete in five ARCA intermediate and superspeedway races throughout the 2020 season.
“I am excited to have Ryan (Repko) join Venturini Motorsports for 2020 and pilot our No. 20 Toyota Camry for five races next season,” commented Billy Venturini in a team press release. “Ryan has proven himself a solid contender in all of the different facets of racing he has competed in and I believe he will play an integral part in helping our team achieve our expectations and goals this coming season.”
20-year old Repko has made starts in the CARS Late Model Stock Tour winning at Hickory Speedway in 2019. In addition, the Denver North Carolina native has competed in the ARCA Menards Series and most recently the NASCAR Xfinity Series.
Repko made three starts in the Xfinity Series for Johnny Davis’s J.D. Motorsports in the No. 01 Chevrolet this past season including his series debut at Iowa Speedway in June.
The young driver went on to earn three top-25 finishes with a season best finish of 19th at Richmond Raceway in September.
“It’s an honor to join the Venturini (Motorsports) team for the 2020 season and have the chance to work with Billy (Venturini) as my crew chief and Chandler (Smith) as my teammate on the 20 car,” commented Repko. “I plan to utilize this opportunity to the best of my ability and work on putting my Toyota Camry into victory lane every chance I get and working with my team to earn VMS back-to-back owners championship titles in ARCA.”
Repko will team up with veteran crew chief and VMS team owner, Billy Venturini to chase after another ARCA owner’s championship in 2020.
Repko’s first start of the season will come at the famed 2.5-mile Daytona International Speedway on Saturday February 8th.
Venturini Motorsports stated that sponsorship will be announced at a later date.
