The last handful of races have been anything but spectacular for NASCAR Xfinity Series driver and owner of RSS Racing, Ryan Sieg.
After finishing eighth at Charlotte in May, the next five events heading into Kentucky Speedway last weekend yielded uncommon results.
His best finish in that time span was 12th at Chicagoland and his worst? A rare 30th place finish at Iowa due to a fuel pressure issue.
Despite that and a 24th place finish at Daytona due to a crash, Sieg continues to have the best season of his career.
Rewind to last Friday evening’s Alsco 300 from Kentucky Speedway where Sieg’s luck turned around.
Suddenly those finishes so many have come accustomed to seeing this season happened yet again.
Sieg would cross the finish line for his 7th top-10 finish of the season, finishing 9th in his No. 39 Larry’s Hard Lemonade Chevrolet.

Now Sieg will look to carry that momentum into Saturday afternoon’s ROXOR 200 from New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
In five previous starts at The Magic Mile, Sieg has earned four top-20 finishes with a career best of 15th at the track twice (2016, 2018).
Sieg will look to change that with Night Owl on board his Chevrolet this weekend.
The 32-year old is seeking back-to-back top-10s for the first time since Las Vegas and then Phoenix earlier in the season.

Sieg recently spoke to Kickin’ The Tires on New Hampshire and the chance at another top-10 result.
“I’m really looking forward to NHMS this weekend. We raced really well at Richmond with this same car, and we feel like it’s our best car in the fleet. We would love another top-10 run”, Sieg said.
Season update heading into NHMS weekend:
The Georgia native continues to have his best career season.
In 17 starts this season, Sieg has amassed two top-5s, 7 top-10s, 12 top-15s with a best finish of 4th coming in the season opener at Daytona International Speedway in February.
Furthermore, it was announced earlier this month that one of Sieg’s current sponsor’s, CMR Construction & Roofing (CMR) will come on board as the full-time primary sponsor of Sieg’s No. 39 Chevrolet in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2020.
In a press release, Sieg said “I am really excited for the 2020 NASCAR Xfinity Series season. We are a small family owned and operated team, and we’ve worked really hard to put together a great program. I can’t thank CMR, and everyone at the organization for believing in me, and RSS Racing.”
The ROXOR 200 from Loudon, New Hampshire is set for Saturday July 20 at 4:00pm / EDT on NBCSN/PRN.
