After being pulled out of the car in the middle of the Alsco 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Alex Labbe has been treated and released from a local area hospital.
Labbe was replaced by Josh Williams in the No. 36 entry. Once taken out of the car, Labbe went to the infield care center. According to NASCAR, Labbe was taken to the hospital for further evaluation. A team spokesperson confirmed that Labbe was suffering from heat-related issues.
Labbe and Mario Gosselin, team owner, went to social media to explain what happened:
Very thankful to be headed to the airport WITH @AlexLabbe36. All of his tests and scans have come back clear. We will see you all in Pocono next weekend. Thank you all for your prayers and support. Alex is okay!

Finally at the airport, thanks everyone for the support today! It was a weird deal today, the A/C broke down and was pushing some really hot air. It felt like my helmet was weighting 150 pounds directly on the top of my head where the air was forced in.
