NASCAR has issued penalties following the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series doubleheader from Kansas Speedway. Here is what NASCAR found at the Research and Development Center in Concord, North Carolina:

Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series

Section: 20.4.h (Body); 20.4.8.1.b&.c (Rear Window Support and Structure); 12.5.2.6.2(c)

Notes: The organization announced that they would not appeal the penalty. The team issued a statement: “Although all parties agree that the infraction was unintentional and the result of contact, we will not appeal the penalty so that we can focus our energy on the All-Star race and the Coca-Cola 600.”

Driver: Joey Logano

Section: 10.9.10.4 (Tires and Wheels)
Violation: The No. 22 team was found with one loose lug nut after the race.
