ThorSport Racing’s L1 penalty for the No. 41 Truck, piloted by Ben Rhodes, has been upheld by The National Motorsports Final Appeals Officer, Bryan Moss.

The L1 penalty was assessed by NASCAR at Daytona International Speedway when the team was found outside of NASCAR height tolerances in post-race inspection.

The team has exhausted all opportunities to appeal the penalty.

As a result of the penalty, Eddie Troconis, crew chief of the No. 41, has been fined $5,000 and suspended from the next NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event at Dover International Speedway on May 4. The team will also lose 10 driver and owner points.

With the penalty, Rhodes sits fifth in the standings.
