For the first time in his NASCAR XFINITY Series career, Matt Tifft becomes eligible for the Dash 4 Cash program next weekend at Talladega Superspeedway with his fourth-place finish at Richmond Raceway.

“It’s a first time that I have been able to qualify for it. It’s really cool for our team to fight for that $100,000 at Talladega of all places. It is going to be wild,” Tifft stated.

For Tifft, this opportunity to go out and win $100,000 at Talladega just shows how well his team has come through the first eight races of the season.

With Talladega being a crapshoot due to its unpredictable nature, Tifft will tap into his experience next weekend, especially with no Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series guys in the field. Tifft hopes to take next weekend’s race to become eligible for Dover.

“The big this is that there is no Cup guys. I have a few years of experience at Talladega since 2016 in this series. I feel like I am getting more comfortable in that place, never too comfortable. I am ready to go in there and attack, lead laps, and get us eligible for Dover because that is my favorite track,” Tifft said.

Tifft will join Christopher Bell, Elliott Sadler and Austin Cindric as the drivers eligible for the $100,000 bonus put up by Comcast and XFINITY.
