GMS Racing announced on Monday, June 7th that Daniel Dye will pilot the No. 21 Race to Stop Suicide Chevrolet SS in eight races this season.

After running the first four ARCA Menards Series East events for Ben Kennedy Racing, Dye will move into the No. 21 for the first time this weekend at Southern National Motorsports Park. Dye will also run for GMS Racing at Iowa, Milwaukee, and in the East finale at Bristol, those races are combination races with the national ARCA Series.

Dye currently sits fifth in East Series points, 33-points behind points leader Sammy Smith. In six East Series starts, Dye has the best finish of sixth twice this season at New Smyrna and Dover.

On top of running the remaining ARCA East races with GMS Racing, Dye will make his ARCA Menards Series debut at Elko Speedway. The DeLand, Flordia native will also run the races at Berlin and Winchester. Dye will end the season by making his ARCA Menards Series West debut at Phoenix Raceway in November.

Dye joins the Chevrolet Drivers Edge Development program which features Chevrolet’s next stars including Tyler Ankrum, Will Cox III, Sheldon Creed, Noah Gragson, Chase Purdy, Sam Mayer, Zane Smith, and Jack Wood.
