D.L. Wilson was hospitalized Friday Night in the General Tire 150 at Phoenix Raceway after an accident.

Wilson, the Waco, Texas native, finished Friday’s race in the 24th position after being involved in an accident with three laps remaining. The accident was with Christian Rose and Toni Breidinger, though he had been involved in a few accidents prior to that accident with three laps remaining including one with Rose turning him after the No. 32 fast approached the No. 12 of Wilson.

Per Fast Track Racing Enterprises on Facebook, D.L. Wilson was “evaluated for a concussion, broken ribs, and damage to the sternum. He is in good spirits and his wife is by his side.”

For fans who want to show Wilson their support, love, and well wishes, Fast Track Racing owner Andy Hillenburg is asking fans to send him mail to the team shop. If you are interested in sending him mail, the address is 5540 Morehead Road, Harrisburg, North Carolina, 28075.

Wilson has 31 starts in the ARCA Menards Series with the best finish of his career coming in 2021 at the Illinois State Fairgrounds where he finished 10th. He finished 14th in ARCA Menards Series points in 2022.

Wilson was slated to run the full ARCA Menards Series East schedule in 2023 with Fast Track Racing. The first race of the East schedule will be on March 25th, 2023 at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida. It is unknown at this time if that is still the plan with the injuries that he suffered Friday at Phoenix.
