NASCAR Xfinity Series team Mike Harmon Racing will head to Indianapolis Motor Speedway this Saturday with patriotic schemes on both the No. 47 and No. 74 Chevrolet’s.

Both of the team’s entries will be sponsored by and sport patriotic “Stand For The Flag” schemes.

Kyle Weatherman will pilot the No. 47 Chevrolet, while Bayley Currey will be behind the wheel of the No. 74 Chevrolet.

In five races for Mike Harmon Racing this season, Weatherman’s best finish this season is 15th at Pocono Raceway, which he earned this past Sunday. He has only run one previous Xfinity Series race at Indy, which came last season for Rick Ware Racing in an event where he finished 35th due to an overheating issue.

Currey heads to Indianapolis having run eight races for the team this season, with three Top-20 finishes in a row at Charlotte, Bristol, and Atlanta. His best finish of the season is 18th twice (Charlotte and Atlanta).

These aren’t the first paint schemes MHR has run this season that have caught the attention of both fans, media and even people who have never watched NASCAR.

In February, Joe Nemechek piloted the No. 47 Chevrolet with a re-elect Donald Trump 2020 scheme at Daytona International Speedway. The sponsorship was funded by the Patriots PAC of America in conjunction with Race Fans for Trump 2020.

For the past three races, beginning with the doubleheader weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway and then last weekend at Pocono Raceway, Kyle Weatherman has piloted the No. 47 ‘Back The Blue’ Chevrolet. Weatherman’s car featured the #BackTheBlue image in three places, and also had a large “Blue Lives Matter” flag decal on the hood.

The Pennzoil 150 from Indianapolis Motor Speedway will take place on Saturday July 4 at 3:00 PM ET on NBC.
