For the second-straight year, Permatex a leader in chemical technology for both automotive maintenance and repair will continue their relationship with NASCAR Cup Series team, StarCom Racing.
Permatex will appear as a primary sponsor on StarCom Racing’s No. 00 Chevrolet Camaro in four events this season beginning with the O’Reilly 500 at Texas Motor Speedway on March 29.
The additional three events include the GEICO 500 at Talladega Superspeedway on April 26, the Foxwoods 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on July 19 and the Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway on September 6.
During the Southern 500, Permatex and SCR will debut a retro Permatex paint scheme that will display Permatex’s heritage in motorsports as well as the impact the company has had on automotive maintenance.

StarCom Racing is equally excited about the continued partnership.

“It has been a pleasure working with and getting to know the Permatex team over the last two seasons, and we look forward to continuing to represent their brand, this year with rookie Driver Quin Houff at the helm of the sharp and fast blue and orange Permatex Chevy.”
In three events this season, StarCom Racing Rookie driver Quin Houff has a best finish of 32nd in the Pennzoil 400 presented by Jiffy Lube at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Houff currently sits 34th in the NASCAR Cup Series driver points standings.
