DOVER, Del. — The 2019 Gander RV 400 at Dover International Speedway has been postponed due to Monday at 12:00 p.m. EDT due to rain that persisted throughout the afternoon. Monday’s postponed race will be televised live on FS1 and broadcasted over the airwaves on the Motor Racing Network.
NASCAR made the call after numerous attempts to dry the concrete mile, but Mother Nature ultimately prevailed.
Hendrick Motorsports teammates Chase Elliott and William Byron will lead the field to the green flag. Kyle Larson, who has crashed in three of the last four races, will hope to turn his luck around at the Monster Mile while starting from the third position. Joey Logano will start fourth and Alex Bowman will start from the fifth position.
