After a top-10 finish in his debut at Martinsville Speedway earned Danny Bohn the opportunity to run two more NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series races, he now has a sponsor.
In the Lucas Oil 150 at ISM Raceway and Ford EcoBoost 200 at Homestead-Miami Speedway, Bohn will have Sierra Delta onboard his No. 30 On Point Motorsports Toyota Tundra. Sierra Delta is a nonprofit organization works to match trained Public Access service dogs with United States military veterans.
In addition to having a sponsor at ISM and Homestead, there is a possibility that Bohn may have a teammate. Brennan Poole, who started the season in the No. 30 Tundra, will potentially be in a second On Point Motorsports machine.
“The team and I feel fortunate to have been a part of Danny’s debut in the Truck series,” crew chief Steven Lane explained. “I have watched Danny race at Bowman Gray Stadium and was impressed with what he could do behind the wheel. We look forward to working with both him and Brennan and finishing out the rest of the season with the potential of being a two-truck team.”
The majority of Bohn’s racing experience have come in the now-defunct NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour and at Bowman Gray Stadium. It was across the Southeast that the 31-year-old earned a championship and turned heads before he finally earned a chance to more to NASCAR’s National level.

“I am very grateful to be able to continue my journey with On Point Motorsports at Phoenix and Homestead,” Bohn admitted. “It will be an honor to work with Sierra Delta for the rest of the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series season and help bring attention to their cause.”
