A career night at Bristol Motor Speedway. That’s exactly what happened for Vinnie Miller and his BJ McLeod Motorsports No. 78 Koolbox Chevrolet on Monday evening.

Miller rolled off the starting grid 14th, tying a career best starting position that has only occurred twice for the young driver. He also started 14th back-to-back last season at Atlanta and Las Vegas in the Spring.

In stage one of the Cheddar’s 300, he worked his way into the Top-10, running as high as ninth.

As the first stage wound down, Miller remained consistent and was scored 15th at the break. It was similar results for the No. 78 through out the second stage as well as Miller was able to finish 16th.

The checkered flag flew on lap 303 as Miller captured his third Top-15 finish of the 2020 season – a career best day for the Michigan native.

Miller’s third Top-15 finish of 2020 is a career best having also earned Top-15’s at both Daytona and Fontana earlier in the season.

The finish also marked a career best finish for the driver at Bristol Motor Speedway, his previous best finish was 21st in this event last year also for BJ McLeod Motorsports.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series next heads to Atlanta for Saturday’s EchoPark 250. Miller will look to capture another Top-15 and add to his already career year.

In two previous NXS starts at the track, Miller has a best finish of 31st in 2018. He currently sits 18th in the driver point standings.
