After having to come from the back of the field twice on Friday night, Kyle Busch was able to overcome issues on pit road to finish second at Charlotte.
During the race, Busch was busted twice for having his crewmembers over the wall too soon. In his post-race media availability, Busch threw the pit crew of the No. 51 under the bus.
“My pit crew did absolutely nothing to help me out tonight,” Busch stated.
When asked what it took to come from the back of the field to the front of the field twice, Busch answered sarcastically that it was “pure talent.” Busch also called out the lack of passing in traffic.
“You can’t pass in traffic. You can’t race alongside anybody. You can’t get within five truck-lengths of no one. But somehow, someway, I was able to get back to the front. Had a blast,” Busch said.
With the five-race limit on Cup drivers participating in the lower tiers, Busch only has one more start remaining in the Truck series.
