Christopher Bell will lead the NASCAR XFINITY Series field to green once again after claiming his second pole of 2018.

Bell’s 183.616-mph lap propelled the Oklahoman ahead of Kyle Larson (183.411 mph) and Daniel Hemric (183.069) en the final round of Xfinity qualifying for Saturday’s Boyd Gaming 300 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The result was the rookie’s third-career pole, and his second in two weeks after he earned the top starting spot last Saturday at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Cole Custer ( and 2015 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch (182.873 mph) rounded out the top five, with Elliott Sadler, Tyler Reddick, Ryan Blaney, Matt Tifft and Austin Dillon completing the top 10. Busch is looking to become the first driver to sweep a tripleheader weekend in Las Vegas after winning Friday’s Stratosphere 200 for the Camping World Truck Series.

The session was completed without issue for any drivers. Only 40 cars set a time, meaning each competitor on the property will be guaranteed a starting spot in the race.

Coverage for the Boyd Gaming 300 will begin at 4 p.m. ET on FOX Sports 1.
