Officials from NASCAR and New Hampshire Motor Speedway announced on Saturday morning that tomorrow’s Foxwoods Casino 301 for the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series would be moved up one hour due to inclement weather.
The new start time for the race will now be 1 p.m. ET instead of the originally set time of 2 p.m. ET. As a result, all activities on Sunday have been moved up one hour as well. The race will air on NBCSN and Performance Racing Network.
Beginning in 2018, NASCAR instituted a new policy stating that officials can move up or move back the start time of race by one hour with a 24-hour notice.
The Weather Channel predicts a 90 percent chance of rain and/or thunderstorms on Sunday.
New Hampshire Motor Speedway does not have lights.
