For Jamie McMurray, Speedweeks at Daytona International Speedway next month just became extra busy.
Spire Motorsports in conjunction with Chip Ganassi Racing announced Wednesday that McMurray will drive the No. 40 AdventHealth Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 in The Clash at Daytona.
“I am looking forward to getting back in the car at Daytona and to have AdventHealth onboard with us for this race. We have had a great relationship with everyone at AdventHealth over the last several years,” McMurray said in a press release.
“It means a lot to have them partner with us on this special event. With everything that they have going on at Daytona International Speedway throughout Speedweeks, both as presenting sponsor and with their Fan Injector, I am very happy to be a part of it all.”
In addition to the sponsorship at Daytona, AdventHealth and Chip Ganassi Racing introduced the Human Innovation and Development Lab at their shop in Concord, North Carolina. This lab will focus on unique training regimens to prepare athletes both mentally and physically.
On Jan. 18, it was announced that McMurray would run the Daytona 500 with the organization.
