Quin Houff to Feature ‘Trucker Appreciation’ theme for National Truck Driver Appreciation Week in Richmond

StarCom Racing and NASCAR Cup Series Rookie driver, Quin Houff and his No. 00 Chevy will sport a ‘Trucker Appreciation’ theme at Richmond on Saturday night.

National Truck Driver Appreciation Week runs from September 13-19, 2020.  With that said, the Virginia native will dedicate his No. 00 Chevrolet Camaro to thanking truckers across the United States.

The No. 00 hood states, “If you bought it, a trucker brought it.” Houff also knows how important truckers are to the daily lives of American’s as his own family is deeply rooted within’ the industry.

In a tweet on his Twitter account, Houff said, “Really excited to run this paint scheme at Richmond [Raceway] this weekend. Thanks to Lynchburg Ready Mix and Excel Truck Group for helping make it happen.”

In addition to the ‘thank you trucker’ theme, he will also feature Lynchburg Ready Mix, a Central Virginia concrete supplier and Excel Truck Group, a family [owned] company that has been in operation for over 35 years.

“We applaud StarCom Racing and driver Quin Houff for the special “Thank You Truckers” paint scheme they are running in the Federated Auto Parts 400 this weekend at Richmond Raceway,” said Dale Bennett, President & CEO of the Virginia Trucking Association.

“As part of one of Virginia’s oldest trucking families, Quin understands how hard our professional truck drivers have worked on the front line to keep Virginia and the nation supplied with the goods we need during the COVID-19 pandemic.”

In 27 events this season, Houff has a best finish of 23rd  twice at both Indianapolis and Daytona.

The NASCAR Cup Series Federated Auto Parts 400 will take place on Saturday September 12 at 7:30 PM [Eastern] on NBCSN.
