StarCom Racing and Rick Ware Racing have teamed up to bring Jacob Companies, Inc. and Jacob Construction back to Daytona International Speedway.

The No. 00 Jacob Companies Chevrolet will be piloted by Rookie-of-the-Year contender, Quin Houff as he makes his first start in the prestigious Daytona 500.

“I can’t believe the 2020 is season is finally here. I am beyond excited to get this year going with StarCom Racing and our great sponsors we have behind us,” said Quin Houff, SCR No. 00 driver.

“To even be a part of The Great American Race is something to be proud of. I look forward to having the Jacobs Construction colors aboard with us for my first 500! It’s a sharp looking car that I know will be fun to watch on the high banks!”

“We continue to make changes to advance our program and are excited to continue to grow as a team this year,” said Michael Kohler, CEO. “We owe it all to partners like Don Perry with Jacob, our Team Manager Derrike Cope and we are eager to see what our young blooded driver Quin can do on the track this year.”

Houff will embark on his first full-time season in the NASCAR Cup Series when the green flag waves for the 62nd annual Daytona 500 on Sunday February 16.

A Virginia native, Houff made his NCS debut at Phoenix Raceway last Spring in the No. 77 for Spire Motorsports, an event where Houff finished 30th in his debut.

Additionally, he made 16 more starts in the NCS in 2019 for both Spire Motorsports as well as Premium Motorsports.

Overall, Houff's best finish to date is a 28th place result in last May's Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

The NASCAR Cup Series season opener Daytona 500 will take place on Sunday February 16 at 2:30 PM live on Fox.
