The 2023 NASCAR Pinty’s Series released its schedule for the upcoming 2023 season, featuring more races in a single season than ever before in its’ history.

“The NASCAR Pinty’s Series has delivered great racing and exciting events across Canada for 16 years and next season will be our best one yet,” said Tony Spiteri, General Manager, NASCAR Canada.

The 2022 NASCAR Pinty’s Series held its season finale on September 24th at Delaware Speedway, in Delaware, Ontario, where Marc-Antoine Camirand captured his first Championship

The 2022 season also featured two races and tracks new to the series; Ohsweken Speedway in Ohsweken, Ontario, and Eastbound Speedway in Conception Harbour, Newfoundland and Labrador.

Last season’s race in Newfoundland and Labrador was the series first trip to the province. It resulted in an exciting race and a trip to victory lane for Camirand.

Following the success of last year’s dirt debut race at Ohsweken Speedway, the track will return to the calendar for back to back races on Monday, August 14 and Tuesday, August 15. The Tuesday race will also be the 200th race in the history of the series under the NASCAR banner.

The series also returned to the west for the first time in 2022. The last time the Pinty’s Series went west was prior to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This western swing is back for 2023 with stops at Edmonton International Raceway, in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, and Sutherland Automotive Speedway in Saskatoon, Saskatewan.

The race at Sutherland Automotive Speedway will be a weekday showdown once again. It will be broken into two individual 125 lap races, each with their own winner and points awarded. The Wednesday race has been split into two individual races since the 2017 season.

Similarly to last season, the opening race will be held at Sunset Speedway, located in Innisfil, Ontario. It is scheduled to be on Saturday, May 13.

The Fall Brawl will continue to be the last race of the season. It is scheduled to take place on Sunday, Sept. 24  at Delaware Speedway in Delaware, Ontario.
