Jake Finch Earns First Career ARCA Menards Series East Pole at Nashville

NASHVILLE – 16-year-old Jake Finch will lead the field to green Saturday Night in the Music City 200 at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway. Finch turned a 19.529-second lap around the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway to earn his first career pole in the ARCA Menards Series East. 

2021 Nashville winner Sammy Smith will start from the second position while Leland Honeyman, Taylor Gray, and Michael Lira round out the top-five starting positions.

Starting Lineup for the Music City 200 at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway

The Music City 200 at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway will kick off at 9:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcasted live on FloRacing. It will also be audio broadcasted on ARCARacing.com. The race will also be shown via tape delay on the USA Network on Monday, May 16th at 1 p.m. ET. Tickets are still available but must be purchased at the NFS ticket office.

Christian returns to Kickin' the Tires again in 2023 for his third straight season. He will mainly serve as a photographer for the organization while also being the main ARCA Menards Series writer. He currently plans to do at least 40 races across the three NASCAR National Series, ARCA Menards Series, IndyCar, and make his NHRA debut at Bristol in June. Christian's favorite race tracks include Nashville Superspeedway, Talladega Superspeedway, Bristol Motor Speedway, Barber Motorsports Park, Martinsville Speedway, and Iowa Speedway among other tracks. One of Christian's dreams is for NASCAR or ARCA to return to Memphis International Raceway.
