Ross Chastain will race in the NASCAR Cup Series season opener, Daytona 500 in a partnership between Chip Ganassi Racing and Spire Motorsports.
Chastain will pilot the No.77 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 with sponsorship from AdventHealth.
“To have the opportunity to run the Daytona 500 is awesome, and it’s great to do it this year with AdventHealth on board my car,” Chastain said in a press release. “I’ve only had one start in the Daytona 500 and can’t wait to run that race again in what I know will be a competitive car. I’m also looking forward to racing the Coca-Cola 600. That’s another iconic race that all of us want to win.”
Chastain’s only other start in the Great American Race yielded a 10th place result in a Premium Motorsports entry last February.
In addition, AdventHealth will also adorn Kyle Larson’s No. 42 Chevrolet for the Clash at Daytona, as well as the fall race at Kansas Speedway.
The company has partnered with Chip Ganassi Racing since 2016 having had a presence on the No. 1 car, racing in last year’s Clash at Daytona with Jamie McMurray, with Kurt Busch’s entry in last year’s Fall race at Kansas, as well as sponsoring Larson’s All-Star Race winning ride last May.
“It’s great to have AdventHealth back with the No. 42 team for some races in 2020,” Larson said in a team press release. “It was awesome to win with AdventHealth on our car at the All-Star Race, in their first race with the 42 team, and I hope we can have more exciting races with them this year. They have been a great partner, on and off the track, and I’m glad to see our relationship continue.”
It’s important to note this won’t be the only time we see AdventHealth on the No. 77 as they will also sponsor Chastain at the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway in May.
Chastain will run the full NASCAR Xfinity Series schedule in 2020 behind the wheel of the No. 10 for Kaulig Racing.
The Daytona 500 from Daytona International Speedway will take place on Sunday February 16 at 2:30 p.m. ET live on Fox.
