Record Rack adds Richmond with Spencer Boyd, nominate your hero with Bucks for the Brave nominations

By Sarah Handy, Staff Writer

Record Rack, a loyal partner of Spencer Boyd’s for the last three seasons has added Thursday’s ToyotaCare 250 truck race from Richmond Raceway to its schedule. The company will also serve as the primary sponsor on Boyd’s No. 20 Youngs Motorsports Chevy.

Sportsman’s Choice and Record Rack Feed invite you to thank those who have served with their Bucks for the Brave contest. The contest allows the nomination of Veterans (those no longer serving) and retired Fire Responders. This includes Law Enforcement, Firefighters and EMTs to win the hunt of a lifetime.

The hunt of a lifetime will take place during Veteran’s Day weekend [November 11-15, 2020] at the Trinity Oak’s Thumbtack Ranch in Batesville, Texas. Eight heroes will be winners from eight categories: Air Force Veteran, Army Veteran, Coast Guard Veteran, Marine Corps Veteran, Navy Veteran, Retired Firefighter, Retired Law Enforcement and Retired EMT.

How to Enter

Submit a photo with a short essay as to why this Hero should be chosen to win.  All nominations must be submitted by September 13th.

Those entering must go to http://www.recordrack.com or http://www.facebook.com/RecordRackDeerFeed and follow the prompts to submit the story of the hero they are nominating.

The official rules for the contest can be viewed here: https://www.sportsmanschoicefeeds.com/bucks-for-the-brave-official-rules

Hear from Spencer

Spencer Boyd has been on two Bucks for the Brave events previously and will be going back for a third.

“Record Racks ‘Bucks for the Brave’ has a special place in my heart for so many reasons. Being with Veterans on the hunt of a lifetime is like therapy for everyone involved. There is still time to nominate your hero.”

Additionally, Boyd added, “This race comes the night before 9/11 and we will race with #NeverForget above the passenger door for everyone effected thru the 9/11/01 tragedy.”

Tune into the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series ToyotaCare250 from Richmond Raceway live Thursday September 10 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern on FS1.
