It was a strong night for Chris Buecher and the No. 37 Team from JTG Daughtery Racing.
Buescher was working on his first top-five finish on a non-restrictor plate track. However, on a late-race restart, Buescher was battling hard down the frontstretch amongst guys like Kyle Busch and Jimmie Johnson.

“Our Chevy was really good tonight. This whole team did an outstanding job. I am really proud of them. We worked really hard. The team is making strides,” Buescher said post-race.
Racing at the front of the field is something that the top teams and guys are not used to. Buescher appeared upset with the way he was being raced. Buescher left stern words for those guys.
“We are up there racing with guys that we aren’t supposed to and they don’t like it. Those big drivers and teams that have been here a long time don’t like it when we get up there and race with because they aren’t used to it,” he said.
“They will have a lot more of it. They decided to run all over us and ended up cutting a tire down. What comes around goes around. They will have a lot more of it.”
Buescher ultimately finished the race in the 19th position.
